Style: Designer Bags – from Worklife to Mumlife

To Chanel or Not to Chanel?

Like most women, I love a nice handbag. I’d always had my sights set on the classic Chanel flap bag, telling myself that next time I got a bonus at work or reached an exciting milestone, I’d be treating myself. Then I became a mother. Let’s be honest, very few working mothers are running out to by themselves Chanel anything. Even if you technically have the money, going from glam, selfish Career-Gal to selfless Chief Exec Mum, your priorities change as quick as… well as quick as a smack in the face with someone else’s gorgeous Chanel purse. Enter Mum Style.

That’s okay, it’s worth it, right? (groan, sigh, yeah okay it’s worth it). Mum style needn’t be dreary, it’s just all about balance! And to help find the balance I’ve collated a few lovelies that are still totally stunning, yet less indulgent in the $$ department. Not only that, but they transition really well from worklife to mumlife and have room for all your precious little “Chanel-Dream-Stealer’s” stuff!

Enjoy
